What is the best thing about being your age?

I fully accept what I can't change and what I can change. I no longer need to please everyone, I stay centered and focused on what feels good to me, not what is expected of me.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

After having my son, my greatest achievement is that I changed my life around at over 40 years old. After several bad experiences in various companies, I (finally) listened to what my soul was shouting at me very loudly and set up my own coaching business. I have never looked back, it feels so right no matter how difficult some months may be.

What's your favourite thing you have checked off your bucket list?

I think that would have to be "a parachute jump" out of a plane overlooking the Gold Coast in Australia.

What is a trait you are most proud of?

My ability to not judge other people or their actions.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would add a few inches to my height.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Being near some water (river, lake, ocean) and listening to the sound of laughter and people having fun all around. Or even maybe being in the water whilst listening to the sound of laughter and people having fun all around.

What is your most treasured possession?

I would love to say that what I treasure the most are not possessions, it's laughter, happiness, joy and uniqueness, however that wouldn't be quite true, I really love some of my jewellry.

What is your greatest fear?

That I don't see my son grow up into a wonderful man.

What do you most value in your friends?

Honesty, empathy and a good sense of humour.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Have fun and whatever happens stay true to who you are and want to be. Don't let others change you or take away your happiness.

What is your motto?

My favorite quote is "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken" - Oscar Wilde

My motto is "breathe!, everything will be ok in the end, if it's not ok, it's not the end".

How important is self-love and dedicating little moments of celebrating yourself?

It is sooooo important. Taking care of yourself isn't selfish, it's completely normal. It's all about me AND the others, not me OR the others. As a mother, entrepreneur, friend, and all the other aspects of my life, it's very important that I take care of myself too. I am as important as anyone else.

Additional thoughts for younger women....

Please live your own life, not what others expect you to do. You are unique and deserve to be happy and loved. Your soul always knows best, not your mind. Love yourself and be kind both to yourself and others. Respect yourself and respect others too. What you focus on expands, so make sure you focus on your dreams. And have fun, lots of fun.
