Boudoir photography can be as revealing as you want it to be, from fully covered up to fully nude. Most women fall someplace in between, and your boundaries are always respected. At Zori Art Photography we keep it timeless and classy, with an emphasis on celebrating the women you are today.
We have created a boudoir portrait experience, where we take care of YOU, offering a safe space to see beyond your flaws, a space where you can accept and value your entire being and finally feel beautiful, special and seen. As women, we all want that!

NEW TO BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY? NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE? PERFECT! WE’VE GOT YOU!

Most of our clients have never had their photo taken before, much less in the boudoir style.

We will walk you through ever step of the process, from your initial inquiry to the delivery of your images.

BEFORE your PHOTO SHOOT

To get started, all you have to do is reach out. We'll send you an email with all the important details like the process, pricing, and available dates for your shoot. You don't need to schedule a call, we can handle everything over email. If you prefer, we can also have a video chat before you book or before your shoot. During our conversation, we can discuss why you want a boudoir shoot, what kind of photos you have in mind, and we can answer any questions you have. Once you're officially booked, we'll send you a comprehensive preparation guide that covers what to wear, where to find the right clothes, and tips for looking your best in the photos. We will also give you a few "homework assignments" so we can get to know you and your style better.

A few days before your photo shoot, we'll check in with you to confirm the details. By the time your shoot day arrives, you'll have received plenty of information from us, so there won't be any surprises. You'll know how long we'll be together, how many outfits we'll be photographing, and how long hair and makeup will take. We'll also be there to guide you every step of the way.

YOUR SHOOT DAY!

Today is the big day! By now, we'll feel like old friends. You can show us the clothes you brought and you will be introduce you to our hair & makeup artist. She already knows the look we want for your photo shoot, so you can just relax and enjoy being pampered. She'll enhance your natural beauty without going overboard with makeup. Meanwhile, we will plan your outfits and make a list of all the shots we want to capture. We'll chat, laugh, and even have some champagne if you'd like.

At this point, you'll be relaxed and having a great time, just like you're hanging out with friends. You might be surprised by how comfortable you already feel! Your boudoir shoot isn't a "sexy" experience at all. It's actually very laid-back and fun, and we'll laugh a lot. We'll guide you through different poses, telling you where to put your hands, where to look, and how to breathe. Zori will capture photos of you from all angles. She will demonstrate all the poses, so all you need to do is imitate. If you're comfortable, we will encourage you to get creative and try your own ideas, as some of the most magical shots happen when we collaborate. Zori will boost your confidence and focus on highlighting your best features while being sensitive to any insecurities you may have. Once we have a wide range of photos, we'll change outfits and continue shooting for the rest of your session.

Time will FLY by.  It always does! It's enjoyable for both of us, and time flies by. When we start packing up, you'll already want to do it again. A few days after the shoot, we'll send you a sneak peek image to keep you excited until we reveal all the photos, which we'll schedule for 2-3 weeks later.

PRO TIP: Make plans for the night of your boudoir shoot because you'll have impeccable hair and makeup, and you'll feel amazing.

THE PHOTO REVEAL

The boudoir photo reveal is exciting! We can do it at the studio or through zoom, whichever suits you best. While reviewing your photos, we'll have some treats. First, we'll show you a slideshow of our favorite 30 photos, and then we'll go through all of your images. You can choose from around 70 photos that have been lightly edited, which will be the ones in your album or wall art. We'll assist you in selecting the perfect photos for your preferred display method. During the reveal, we'll also show you different album samples and wall art options. These are professional, high-quality products, from the best photo Lab in the world, handmade in Italy - because we want only the best for our clients. At the end of your portrait experience with us, you will leave with amazing photos and most importantly, with a long-lasting confidence boost.

PRODUCT DELIVERY

Delivery of albums and wall art usually takes around 4 weeks after you see them. We will receive them first to make sure they're in good condition and then package them up for you. Once they're ready, we'll contact you to set up a time for you to pick them up. We aim to stay connected with our clients, just like old college friends. We'll send you a message and follow you on Instagram, and we hope you'll do the same with us. For most of our clients, it's more of a "see you next time" than a goodbye ;)

• Guided 2 hour studio photo shoot (time for 3-4 outfits) with your photographer Zori

ABOUT PORTRAIT COLLECTIONS & PRICING

Zori Art boudoir portrait collections start at CHF 1800, including professional hair and makeup, 2 hours long boudoir shoot with Zori, professional image retouching, and an in-person photo reveal and ordering session roughly 3 weeks after your session. On average, our clients tend to spend between CHF 2800 - CHF 3500 on their boudoir experience once albums, prints, wall art have been ordered.  

The session fees are divided into two equal payments: 50% as a non-refundable retainer fee when you reserve your experience, and the remaining 50% at the time of your photo session. You can make payments via bank transfer, Twint, or cash.
