1. What is the best thing about being your age?

The best thing about being 50 is the confidence and self-assurance that comes with experience. By this age, I have learned who I truly am, what I value, and what is worth my time and energy. I no longer feel the need to prove myself to others or conform to expectations that don’t align with my happiness. There’s a deep sense of freedom in that. I have also built meaningful relationships - whether in my marriage, with my daughter, or in my professional life - that bring richness to my days.

2. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement is building a life that I love - both personally and professionally. As a business owner, I have created something that reflects my passion, allowing me to share quality and authenticity with others. As a mother, I am incredibly proud of raising my daughter and guiding her as she discovers her own path. Balancing both these roles while maintaining a strong, loving marriage is something I consider a real accomplishment.

3. What's your favourite thing you have checked off your bucket list?

One of my favourite experiences was traveling to a place rich in culture, history, and gastronomy -

perhaps visiting an olive grove in the Mediterranean, meeting the producers,

and deepening my understanding of the craftsmanship behind the products I import.

Being able to connect with the land, the people, and the traditions has been incredibly fulfilling.

4. What is a trait you are most proud of?

I am most proud of my resilience. Life is full of challenges -

whether in business, relationships, or personal growth- but I have always found a way to adapt,

learn, and come out stronger. Resilience has allowed me to face uncertainties

with grace and build a meaningful life despite setbacks.

5. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would like to worry less. Sometimes, my mind gets caught up in overthinking,

whether about my business, my family, or the future. While planning ahead is essential,

I try to remind myself to stay present, trust my instincts, and enjoy the moment rather than stress over what I can’t control.

6. What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Perfect happiness is a peaceful life filled with love, meaningful connections,

and a sense of purpose. It’s a balance of simple pleasures - sharing a beautiful meal with loved ones,

seeing my daughter thrive, feeling fulfilled in my work, and knowing that I am making a difference

in small but significant ways. True happiness comes from gratitude for the

present moment and appreciating what I already have.

7. What is your most treasured possession?

My most treasured possession isn’t material - it’s the memories I’ve created with my family.

It would be very difficult if I had to pick a physical item.

8. What is your greatest fear?

Losing the people I love. Family is everything to me, and the idea of being without them is difficult to think about.

That’s why I make it a priority to cherish every moment, express my love, and create lasting memories together.

9. What do you most value in your friends?

I value authenticity, loyalty, and kindness. True friends are the ones who celebrate with you

in good times and stand by you during difficult moments. I appreciate friendships that are effortless,

where we can be ourselves without pretense or judgment. Laughter, deep conversations,

and mutual support make friendships truly special.

10. What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self to trust the process and not rush through life trying to meet expectations.

Everything falls into place when it’s meant to, and worrying too much about the future only steals the joy of the present.

I’d also remind myself that failure is not a reflection of my worth but a necessary step toward growth.

11. How important is self-love and dedicating little moments of celebrating yourself?

Self-love is essential - it’s not selfish; it’s necessary. As women, we often give so much to others

that we forget to nurture ourselves. Celebrating small victories, taking time for personal care,

and treating ourselves with kindness helps us maintain balance and prevents burnout.

Whether it’s enjoying a quiet coffee, indulging in a small luxury, or simply pausing

to acknowledge how far I’ve come, these little moments matter.

12. What is your motto or favourite quote?

One quote that resonates deeply with me is: “Do what you love, love what you do, and deliver more than you promise.”

It applies to both life and business - passion, integrity, and generosity always lead to fulfillment.

13. Additional thoughts for younger women....

To younger women, I would say: Don’t be afraid to take risks, pursue your dreams, and set boundaries.

You are allowed to change, to evolve, and to prioritize yourself without guilt. Build your confidence,

invest in meaningful relationships, and never let anyone diminish your worth.

Most importantly, don’t wait for happiness—create it in the small, everyday moments.
