The challenge
Like many of my clients, Melanie told me something I hear often:
“I hate being in front of the camera. I always feel a bit shy and uncomfortable and I just don't feel like myself.”
She needed branding images that felt aligned with her new direction — confident, credible, and clear — without losing her warmth or authenticity.
Past experiences in front of the camera had felt uncomfortable, and she was afraid of looking stiff or disconnected.

The strategy
We started with clarity. Before the shoot, we defined how Melanie wanted to be perceived and what her images needed to communicate — not just visually, but emotionally.
Together, we shaped a visual identity that matched her work:
approachable, intuitive, professional, and quietly bold.
Outfits and styling were chosen intentionally to support that message. We even selected fuchsia as a key colour — strong, expressive, and perfectly suited to her energy — becoming a signature tone for her brand.
Location was equally important. I chose a refined business hotel with multiple settings that felt like a real consulting space — ideal for branding images that look natural, credible, and versatile.

From the very beginning, my role was to guide — gently and confidently. With clear direction, encouragement, and no pressure to “perform,” Melanie quickly relaxed.
The initial fear dissolved, replaced by laughter, movement, and genuine connection.
